It makes certain parts of the game much easier, especially for some of the speedruns (i.e. At the end of a level segment, right before you grab the pyramid, you need to drop your weapon (or any other object), grab the pyramid, and pick it back up within around 1/4 of a second. There will be links to video guides throughout this section, many created by other players, as to put everything in one place.Ī trick before getting into the challenges that will make your life easier: you can bring guns from different parts of a level to others easily. They are in the order I recommend completing them, as they help you develop certain skills within the game and naturally work you up to doing the no death run and speedruns, which are the more difficult challenges. The following achievements are for completing each of the challenge cartridges, with the exception of Endless mode, as there is no achievement for that. I'm not quite sure what time does and doesn't count, but I can tell you that it didn't pop until around 7.5 hours of Steam playtime for me. The guide for this achievement is verbatim of the guide I posted on AStats for it, and can also be found here Ī simple 6 hours of playtime according to Steam does not seem to grant the achievement it seems that only time spent within the actual game counts, and not when your HMD is off or even time spent in the hacker room. Just to be safe though, I’d advise against this. I’m unaware if exiting the level select (shooting yourself) will lead to you needing to restart your playthrough, but it probably would be fine. Taking off your HMD and freezing the game will not mean starting over, so if you really need a break just don’t close the game. I recommend doing this one post-Harder Challenge (first challenge you should probably take on you’ll get better at throwing things) yes, you just go to the level select (SUPERHOT cartridge post-game) and go through all levels, as long as you don’t exit the game. Keep in mind, if you're going for the 100% you'll get all of these in no time.įor this achievement, you don’t need to do your first playthrough in one sitting. The last grind achievement you'll likely get. Easy as that, especially since this is usually the weapon of choice for many.ġ00 shotgun kills. Further testing on this would be appreciated, since there is 2 other achievements in the Steam version with incorrect descriptions. I've heard that this also might be awarded for throwing all objects within a level (that is NOT a tutorial level), but that may just be for the PSVR version of the game. Doing the challenges will 100% grant you each of these without trying. You won't need to manually grind them out, especially if your first playthrough is absolute garbage like mine. The following achievements are for getting 100 kills with each method of doing so. I have also created a video guide for the achievement on this level, for further instruction (I didn't realize only one level would make the achievement pop, hence why I was surprised this is a clip from a Twitch livestream I did when I played this game) The easiest level to do this on is Helipad (level 8). You only need to complete one level, in fact. Some further testing would be nice, but this isn't the only achievement with a flat-out wrong description of the criteria (see New Perspective)ĭespite what the description of the achievement says, you do NOT need to complete the entire game while laying on the floor. I've heard from sources that you need to actually use a pistol, and use each of your five bullets successfully (shoot 5 enemies with one pistol). The description appears to be inaccurate, as it would entail basically the exact same thing as Nice combo. Just hold down the trigger on both and spray at them like a madman. There are a couple uzis you start off with and 4 guys down below. Kill 3+ enemies with one burst while dual wielding uzisĪn easy area to get this on is in the first part of Foundry (level 14). Do this a few time and the achievement will pop! A good area to do this on is in the first part of Dark Alley (level 9) or the second part of The Pyramid (level 19). Just dodge 4 bullets at once, you'll probably get this without trying for it.Īs bullets are coming at you, take a knife and put it right in front of a bullet. Brutal.Įasier to pull off in some of the later levels, especially when you're being shot at by a shotgun. Just punch a red dude 5 times in a row, punch him over and over when you've already killed him. Punch a single guy at least 5 times in a row The easiest way to do this is to point your gun at an enemy (while looking), look to the side (while keeping your arm and hand in the same position), and then shoot. Just as the description says, you need to shoot a red dude whilst not looking at him. The following are easy achievements that can be done on your first playthrough, many of which you'll likely get without even going for them.
